15-M2007 harmonica and wooden case. SORRY - NO LONGER AVAILABLE. SOLD OUT!!! 02/12/09. This model had thinner (0.9 mm) reed plates than the chrome and silver models, and had an acrylic glass comb instead of the crystal glass of the more expensive models. the cover plates were stainless steel with side vents, similar to the Marine Band.
These were originally priced at $59.95, and are included here for reference.


The Gold plated version was a limited edition of 150 individually numbered units which sold out quickly. Our code was 15-M20072, and these harps were originally priced at $975.00. They were sold with a presentation box, leather bound case and certificate of authenticity. They feature gold-plated 1.05mm reedplates and gold trim and fittings on the presentation box.

1920's style re-issue model with Art Nouveau design features and bells to add rhythmic accompaniment to playing.

Lacquered and decorated maple comb, length 17 cm, chromed stainless steel cover plates with rounded edges, no side vents,
two chrome plated bells tuned a fifth apart, 14 holes/28 reeds, Tremolo tuning, 0.9 mm brass reed plates.

With the new Harponette, exclusively manufactured in Trossingen, Hohner's master instrument makers have crafted a particularly attractive model which is a great addition to the Historic collection. It features a CNC-milled bordeaux red casing, into which a high-quality Richter harmonica is inserted and enables the player to produce a uniquely warm and sonorous tone. The Harponette comes in a luxurious embossed case with a magnetic closure.

Above: Hohner letterhead 1929. Though the actual factory takes up a large section of the town of Trossingen (and is still the major employer there), it isn't quite this big......it would appear that the artist who drew this letterhead may have still been feeling the effects of a rather too heartily celebrated Oktoberfest. Please see the more realistic depiction of the factory on the Accordion label reproduced below:

For the Puck and Double Puck models, click here. The Puck proved so successful as a re-issue that it is now more or less part of the normal diatonic range.
